Short Description: Ymir Yurts - Backcountry Resort
Long Description: Wilderness cabins/yurts in remote hike/heli access. Great for skiing, wildlife viewing, relaxing.
We have the best terrain for all weather and avalanche conditions. The Yurts are located perfectly for all levels of skiers to access their perfect terrain. The powder snow is usually perfect. Ski runs are generally quite long but not intimidating. If it does not snow in the evening we tend to get a light breeze which covers up most of the tracks especially if they another groups. The guide and the cook live to serve you......
We offer four, five and seven day packages.
Four day trips
Friday to Monday ( Qua )
Sunday - Wednesday ( Ymir ).
Five day trips
Monday to Friday ( Qua )
Wednesday - Sunday ( Ymir ).
Seven day trips
Sunday - Saturday ( Ymir )
Qua Yurt - Ymir Yurt traverse
Guided
If you are a group you have the option to choose to be guided. Individuals that we group together must be guided.
Catering
All food from breakfast on the first day until lunch on the last day is included.
Self Catered
Use our kitchen, pots & cutlery to create your own culinary delights.
