Short Description: East African Photo Safaris
Long Description: Deluxe 14-day Wing Safari
June 22 to July 5, 2002
Guided by Naturalist/Photographer Robert Cooper
All-inclusively priced to include virtually all relevant expenses other than international air travel to and from Nairobi, Kenya, and featuring the expeditious use of charter and scheduled bush flights to link memorable stays in three of Africa's most exclusive safari bush lodges and tented camps: Ngong House, overlooking Nairobi National Park with views of the Ngong Hills of Out of Africa fame; Campi ya Kanzi, bordering the remote Tsavo West and Chylulu Hills national parks in the southeastern region of Kenya, and Little Governors' Camp along the Mara River overlooking the Serengeti-Mara plains in the heart of the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve in southwestern Kenya.
Extensions of varying duration may be arranged upon request to lengthen this 14-day itinerary. Noteworthy extensions include tracking "big game" along the Athi River at the exclusive Kilalinda bush lodge and wilderness reserve adjacent to the famed "big-tusker" country of Tsavo East National Park, game viewing from such magnificent bush lodges as Loisaba or Borana on Kenya's spectacular Laikipia Plateau, and/or game viewing in the Samburu or Meru regions of Kenya's Northern Frontier. We also specialize in arranging and guiding camel safaris as well as game viewing safaris in Tanzania's Serengeti National Park and climbs of Mt. Kilimanjaro. These extensions cost an average of $500 to $800 per person per day additional inclusive of all local transport and other necessary costs.
