Long Description: The custom-designed Caribbean Explorer has been visiting the best dive sites in the northeast Caribbean since beginning operation in 1987. From the offshore pinnacles and undercut reefs of the Saba Marine Park, to the historic wrecks and sloping finger reefs of the Statia Marine Park and St. Kitts, the beauty and variety of the area has to be seen to be believed!
The 16-passenger Caribbean Explorer departs each Saturday from either St. Maarten or St. Kitts for 8 day/7 night diving expeditions. The cost is just $1,295 per person, double occupancy. Travel between September 1 and December 31, 2002 and pay only $1,045 per person/double occupancy!

- air-conditioned double accommodations

- five dives daily
- all beverages and port and immigration fees
A crew of seven, including 4 dive instructors, caters to the needs of our 16 guests. 8 air-conditioned double cabins on board each have full-size double bed, sink and vanity; there is a bathroom for every two cabins.
Five dives are scheduled every day, in addition to optional island tours. All diving is done directly off of the vessel, using the expansive dive deck which covers the aft third of the main deck. Each diver has his or her own dive gear bin; a large camera table, as well as rinse tanks, wetsuit drying racks, charging stations and the like are available for all to use. Tanks are filled in place between each dive, so that there is never any need to disassemble your gear.
A large air-conditioned salon serves as the main gathering place for meals, slide shows and movies; an additional shaded bar and entertainment center is available on the sundeck.
E-6 processing is available, as are PADI scuba courses and dive gear and computer rental.
For the past 8 years, the Caribbean Explorer has consistently rated in the top ten liveaboard dive vessels worldwide, and in 1999 our food was rated the best of any liveaboard anywhere!
