Long Description: Welcome to our world of Sea Kayak Adventures! We would like to introduce you to world-class paddling and share an adventure of a lifetime.
We specialize in the remote and serene Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia. Blessed with hundreds of islands, shoals, and islets, this area provides countless sheltered kayak routes, offering some of the most rugged and spectacular coastal beauty in Atlantic Canada.
We would love to guide you around uninhabited islands, explore the jagged coastline, and perhaps have lunch on a secluded beach. There are bird sanctuaries and seal colonies to observe and Captain Kidd's hidden treasure to discover! Whatever your paddling ability, there is a myriad of possibilities.
We are ready to share our love of the outdoors and our knowledge and enthusiasm for this spectacular paddling destination. Come paddle the Eastern Shore!

Policies: Beginners are welcome. An introductory lesson is given on all tours covering the boat, basic paddling techniques and safety on the water.
Safety is our number one priority at Atlantic Explorers, however there are some inherent risks in sea kayaking. Clients participate at their own risk and are required to sign a waiver.
For youth:
Trips are suited for youth 6 years and older.
Youth between the ages of 6 and 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver on their behalf.
Those 17 or 18 years old must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver on their behalf.
According to demand, either half-day or full day tours are offered.
Weather, sea-state, and group ability influence tour itineraries.
We provide high quality kayaks and all other necessary equipment for our trips. We suggest you bring water shoes, a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, water, and an extra set of dry warm clothes. A camera and binoculars are nice too.
All tour groups meet at Liscombe Lodge Marina.
