Short Description: Baja Saltwater Flyfishing

Long Description: The Sea of Cortez and its white beaches harbor bountiful and varied sea life, a true paradise for the angler. With more than 850 species of
identified fish, it ranks as one of the world's most productive fishing areas. Black,
blue and striped marlin, sailfish, tuna, dorado, jack crevalle, pargo, pompano, yellowtail, roosterfish, sierra and occasionally a wahoo are all found in East Cape waters.

The East Cape is also an excellent destination for non-anglers, thanks to
activities such as: shopping, tennis, horseback riding, kayaking,
snorkeling, biking and hiking.

Baja on the Fly guests get to explore over 30 miles of beach on ATV's or a pontoon boat and sight cast to roosterfish, ladyfish, sierra mackerel, jacks, pompano, cabrilla, triggerfish, needlefish, pargo and other inshore species, or they may prefer to fish offshore in cruisers or pangas for dorado (mahi-mahi), yellowfin tuna or marlin.

Testimonials: We had a fabulous time and would recommend Baja on the Fly to my friends. Thank you Yvonne for all your shared tips to help with our trip. Your personal touch was very much appreciated!! Our best to Baja on the Fly.

I had a great time and give my kudos to Jeff and the staff at Buena Vista. I will fish with you again for sure!!

Steve Yoder November 2001

We just came back from a Salmon fishing trip in British Columbia which
turned out to be very very poor. The reason: a poor guide. I can't begin
to tell you how much better and enthusiastic you guys are!! The time we
spent down there last year was incredible. I'd love to come again
sometime. Perhaps next year.

All the best

Mark and Kelly Pernarowski August 2001

A note to you both with my compliments on an enjoyable and well organized fishing trip to Baja. Every aspect of the trip was handled in good order and while one wishes at times for a fish on every cast, Gary and his excellent guides saw to it that we had very adequate opportunities to catch fish. I'll be pleased to recommend this experience to my fishing friends in the future.

Sam

I just wanted to drop you guys a line to thank you for a great experience in Baja. I truly have the "saltwater bug" after fishing with you, and have not been able to shake it since I returned to South Carolina. Catching little freshwater trout will never be quite the same after seeing big roosterfish crashing bait. Likewise, chasing schools of jacks up and down the beach was a unique experience, one that will likely be etched in my mind for life.
Thanks for your hospitality and guidance.

Sandra Berrios, Miami, Fl: I have not had the opportunity to say THANK YOU for a memorable week in Baja. I had a PHENOMENAL time, even when the winds were not cooperative! I loved the pictures that you included in the disc and I will be sure to print some to have in my office this year! I know I define "neophyte", but I do love this sport and I promise I will practice!!

Susan Gagnet, Seattle, Wa: I enjoyed last years trip so much that I just had to come back again this year and I wasn't disappointed. So many Dorado and big one too! This is my largest fish ever on a flyrod. Thanks for a GREAT TRIP!

John Weber, Pacific Grove Ca: This was the best fishing trip of my life, and that includes trips to New Zealand, Australia, Alaska, Canada plus the USA west.

Gary always found time to check in with us, and I was highly impressed with his professionalism and service...Doug
